Poppy Shifts

Every year Cadets across Canada work with their local Legion in their poppy campaign. Tens of millions of Canadians wear a Poppy as a visual pledge to honour Canada’s Veterans and remember those who sacrificed for the freedoms we enjoy today. Learn about the Poppy.

The Poppy Campaign is a local initiative, conducted by Legion Branches in cities, towns and communities across the country. Donations collected during the Poppy Campaign are held in Trust at the branch level to directly support Veterans and their families within their community and to help ensure Canadians ‘never forget’.

Cadets are strongly encouraged to participate in at least one shift. Saturday shifts are: morning 1000-1300, afternoon 1300-1600. Sunday shifts are: morning 1100-1400, afternoon 1400-1700
