Remembrance Day is a mandatory event for all cadets. Cadets are encouraged to wear their uniform for school ceremonies and ask for permission first, email your school name to 819air@cadets.gc.ca.
Each year cadets participate in the Legion’s Poppy Campaign leading up to Remembrance Day. All Cadets sign up for at least one shift, availability found under Poppy Tagging announcement.
On November 11, cadets will arrive in uniform by 0930 at the ROYAL CANADIAN LEGION Branch 61, 4896 Delta Street. Meet in the parking lot of Niagra Pizza. Centoaph Guard are to meeet at 0900 at the Cenotaph. We will all march to the cenotaph for the ceremony. Parents take cadets home after the ceremony at approximately 1200. Wear your full uniform with warm layers underneath.
